(Jun 17th) Thanks so much for your comment! Yeah, I did it in coloured pencils, with just graphite for the paper and the background because I was lazy. XD I totally agree with you on the warpyness - it's quite an awkward thing for me to draw. :]

Negative crit point: I think the shadows on the drape background should be deeper. The violin loses its weight/gravity as it is and seems to go flat because it isn't really interacting with the background. You wanted to draw the violin and you didn't want to draw the cloth, and the background suffered as a result.

XD You're right about everything. It probably would have helped if I'd done the background in coloured pencils too, but I was worried about the unruboutableness of them as opposed to graphite.
