I was just wondering if your portfolio course was structured, because I attended a portfolio course today and a lot of it was a huge development starting from something very simple... They said that these portfolios would actually be strong Advanced Higher folios. So I was wondering if you worked that way for ADV, or can I get away with being spontaneous... (:

my portfolio course was a year long thing after I did advanced higher in 6th year - it was very structured, yes. but my advanced higher was more a series of drawings/paintings, some of which followed a theme, and some which were more spontaneous.
My friend recently dropped out of art school, I heard the work load is copious and you have to have amazing observation skills - to be honest I'm scared! And yeah damn the sun, but I find it relaxing. It must be annoying going up that massive hill everyday :L Despite this, I'm guessing it's a lot of fun? I'd like to know
